Mountains.

To say God moves mountains is an understatement. It's been a while since I've posted an update regarding my relationship with Haiti. In short, I returned from Haiti in a whirlwind of holidays and work. Once the dust settled in early January, I was able to reflect and spend some time asking God: "what is next?". God very clearly told me that He was not done with me in Haiti. This thought did NOT fit into my plans and so I tried to ignore it. I tried to pretend I didn't know what He meant. I tried to come up with all the excused I could to avoid this. I kept on working and in February I returned to Haiti for a wedding and to spend some time with Johnny. This was such a wonderful trip but the entire time I kept feeling this nagging feeling in my heart. I was in tears the days leading up to returning to the US (and it wasn't just because I was leaving Johnny). Again, I tried to push down this feeling of God calling me to return to Haiti. At this point, I knew my current position with Chances 4 Children would be ending soon simply due to many different factors. I LOVE C4C and all that they do in Haiti. I think they have a huge and wonderful impact on Haiti and God is clearly doing wonderful work through them. I spent the days upon arrival in the US praying and really questioning why God was calling me back when my position with C4C was ending and I didn't have any other opportunities. Haiti has had my heart since 2013 - but I have been adamant that I don't want to just go with no purpose. There are too many people in Haiti to just have extra bodies that are not doing anything.

I had some conversations with some people (I will spare you the details on all of it), but basically God flung some doors wide open and cleared a direct path for where He is guiding me. I will share more details on what I will be doing soon, but for now I need people to surround this opportunity in prayer. I will be a full-time missionary, living in Haiti, which means I will be raising my monthly funds - to be able to pay rent and for clean water and food; I am aiming for about $1500-$2000/month; even if you are only able to give $5/month that is hugely helpful. I am in need of people to support me through prayer and financially. If you are interested in this, please leave a comment. I will be reaching out to you individually with some more details. Also stay tuned for some fundraisers because on top of all of this, I have moving costs too.

I appreciate all those who have been on this journey to and from Haiti multiple times and am excited for those that would like to join this journey. God continues to write my story and I am so excited for this next chapter.
